Ryan Friedkin was back at Stadio Olimpico last night for the first time since December.

The vice-president of Roma wanted to make the ownership feel close to Claudio Ranieri and the team in a crucial challenge, congratulating everyone at the end of the match.

But his presence in Rome is not only linked to the pitch: a profound internal reorganization process is underway, writes Corriere dello Sport.

One of the first changes concerns the financial area. For a few days, the financial director Anna Rabuano has no longer been operational and Anna Dunkel, a trusted executive of the Friedkin Group, should arrive in her place.

Dunkel will report directly to Ed Shipley, another key figure within the management structure, and will have the task of contributing to the economic recovery of the club.

The appointment of the new CEO, however, still needs to be defined.

Despite rumors about several candidates, the position is still vacant due to the evaluations underway by the ownership.

It is not excluded that Friedkin’s visit could also serve to unblock this situation and announce the new CEO shortly.
