Sassuolo’s Giovanni Carnevali being considered as Souloukou’s successor

Sassuolo executive Giovanni Carnevali is being rumored as a potential candidate for Roma’s CEO vacancy.

The capital club are currently looking for someone to replace Lina Souloukou, who handed her resignation earlier in the week.

The Greek executive’s exit prompted Roma to turn to two management consulting companies in charge of compiling a list of suitable replacements.

Among them, writes Corriere dello Sport, is in fact Giovanni Carnevali, long-time director at Sassuolo.

There has apparently been no contact yet, but Carnevali is one of the profiles being monitored because he was suggested to president Dan Friedkin.
