Serie A official line-ups: Inter vs. Roma

Inter need a victory and bring in Marko Arnautovic with Davide Frattesi, while Roma defend their 17-match unbeaten run with Artem Dovbyk, Eldor Shomurodov and Matias Soulé.

It kicks off at San Siro at 14.00 UK time (13.00 GMT, 15.00 CET).

This fixture was originally scheduled for Saturday, but had to be moved because a national day of mourning was announced for the funeral of Pope Francis.

Inter were looking to the Treble a week ago, but lost 1-0 to Bologna and were caught at the top of the table by Napoli, then crashed out of the Coppa Italia with a 3-0 semi-final defeat to Milan on Wednesday.

Marcus Thuram, Denzel Dumfries and Piotr Zielinski are still on the treatment table, while Alessandro Bastoni and Henrikh Mkhitaryan sit out bans.

It means Carlos Augusto and former Roma midfielder Frattesi step in, with Arnautovic partnering Lautaro Martinez.

Any other squad rotation ahead of the Champions League semi-final against Barcelona on Wednesday has to be shelved.

Roma are unbeaten in 17 Serie A games, stretching back to December 2024, as Claudio Ranieri has taken them back into contention for European qualification.

They are now only three points behind Bologna and fourth place in an extraordinarily tight battle.

The season is over for Paulo Dybala, while Saud Abdulhamid and Victor Nelsson have not made the trip up north either.

Dovbyk has shaken off a knock to start with support from Soulé and Shomurodov, as for the first time they all start together, while it appears to be a 4-3-1-2 formation.
