Several key players for PSG will get a rest ahead of the Champions Legaue final against Inter Milan at the end of the month.

The French club confirmed in a statement on Twitter that players including Gianluigi Donnarumma, Achraf Hakimi, and Marquinhos, will get a few days off of training.

Paris Saint-Germain and Inter Milan will face off in the Champions League final at the end of the month.

Inter booked their place in the final with a thrilling 7-6 aggregate win over Barcelona in the semifinals.

Meanwhile, PSG overcame Arsenal 3-1 on aggregate.

Naturally, the Champions League final will be a season-defining match for both Inter and PSG.

For the Parisians, it will be a chance to lift the trophy for the very first time.

Meanwhile, Inter will aim to redeem themselves for what has been a somewhat disappointing domestic season. The Nerazzurri already narrowly lost out in the 2023 Champions League final.

Reportedly, Inter Milan coach Simone Inzaghi will look to manage the minutes and fitness of several key players ahead of the match.

The Inter coach will rotate the squad significantly in the remaining Serie A matches. Meanwhile, Lautaro Martinez and Benjamin Pavard are currently on the sidelines recovering from injury.

And PSG coach Luis Henrique is following suit.

The club confirm that all of Gianluigi Donnarumma, Achraf Hakimi, Marquinhos, Nuno Mendes, Willian Pacho, Fabian Ruiz, and Vitinha will have a rest over the next few days.
