Sergio Conceicao is expected to make one change to AC Milan’s starting eleven for the game against Lazio, according to a report. As many fans have been crying out for, Joao Felix will thus start on the bench.
Milan need a reaction after the defeats against Torino and Bologna, which more or less put an end to their top-four hopes. They are not even certain of Europa League football at the moment, so they will need to start with a win tomorrow.
According to Sky Italia, Conceicao will make one change to the XI by bringing in Christian Pulisic for Joao Felix. This also means that Yunus Musah will move to the midfield tandem, while Tijjani Reijnders will take the step up for the No.10 role.
Predicted Milan XI (4-2-3-1): Maignan; Jimenez, Thiaw, Pavlovic, Theo Hernandez; Fofana, Musah; Pulisic, Reijnders, Leao; Gimenez
Conceicao confirmed that he was ready to start Pulisic against Bologna as well, but that the team doctors stopped him on the day of the clash. The American is seemingly better now and that’s certainly good news for Milan, given his importance to the team.
Curva Sud, the Milan ultras, have announced that they won’t be present inside the stadium for the first 15 minutes of the game. A clear message was certainly sent to Gerry Cardinale with the statement, published earlier this evening.
