If Jamie O’Hara has his way, then the talkSPORT pundit would sign Brentford forward Bryan Mbeumo for Tottenham next month.

The former Tottenham player made the comments on talkSPORT (5:55pm, December 7, 2024) while discussing Mbeumo’s performance for Brentford against Newcastle United at the Gtech Community Stadium in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.

The 25-year-old Cameroon international forward scored in the eighth minute and provided an assist in the 90th minute. Brentford won the match against Newcastle 4-2.

Jamie O’Hara would love Bryan Mbeumo at Tottenham Hotspur

After former Tottenham and Chelsea player Jason Cundy compared Mbeumo to Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah, O’Hara said that he would love to sign the Brentford star for Spurs.

Cundy: “He is a little mini Salah. Off that right-hand side, his left foot. I know no one is ever going to be a Salah.”

O’Hara: “He is 25 as well, so he has a lot of football left in him.”

Cundy: “He has got years. He has got years.”

O’Hara: “I would have him at Tottenham. I would snap your hands off for him.”

How Bryan Mbeumo has fared for Brentford

Mbeumo has been on the books of Brentford since 2019 and has established himself as one of the best players for the Bees.

The forward has scored nine goals and given two assists in 15 Premier League matches so far this season. The Cameroonian star found the back of the net nine times and provided six assists in 22 league starts in the 2023-24 campaign.

Mbeumo has scored 31 goals and given 23 assists in 113 appearances in the Premier League so far in his career.

The forward is 25 now and is at the right age to move to a bigger club. Newcastle have been linked with Mbeumo.
