Tottenham manager Ange Postecoglou may be facing serious scrutiny if he suffers one more defeat with the north London club.
Latest reports suggest time really may be ticking for Postecoglou now, with the Australian tactician overseeing a pretty disastrous season overall.
Spurs are all the way down in 14th in the Premier League table, and were just thrashed 4-0 by Liverpool to be knocked out of the Carabao Cup this week.
Postecoglou’s side are on a run of just one win from their last eight league games, with six defeats during that run.
According to Give Me Sport, there are now sources indicating that a defeat to Aston Villa in the FA Cup this weekend could mean serious trouble for Postecoglou.

It always looked a bit of a gamble bringing in Postecoglou, even if he’d done an impressive job at his previous club Celtic.
The 59-year-old has never managed at a level quite as high as this before, and it’s starting to show, even if he initially made a promising start to life at Tottenham.
Spurs fans will now be growing impatient with a style of play that really doesn’t seem to be working, even if some will also acknowledge that the team have been quite unlucky with injuries.
Many other top managers have also struggled at Tottenham, so perhaps another change isn’t the silver bullet that some fans often tend to think it can be.
Still, it also seems mad for the club not to react if results and performances continue like this, and it seems that there’s now a hint that one more game could be enough to decide Postecoglou’s future.
