The Carabao Cup team of the week has been revealed.
This comes after the two semi-final matches played out in midweek.
On Wednesday night it was Newcastle 2 Arsenal 0.
Then Thursday night it ended Liverpool 4 Tottenham 0.
Now this Carabao Cup team of the week has been made public, based on the Whoscored ratings from both games, the highest rated player in each position, from the two matches played.
‘The whoscored ratings use data from every single Premier League match, over 200 raw statistics included in the automated calculation of a player’s rating, weighted according to their influence within the game.
Every event of importance is taken into account, with a positive or negative effect on ratings weighted in relation to its area on the pitch and its outcome.’
As you can see below, three Newcastle United players included in the Carabao Cup best eleven this week.
