Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has provided some very interesting out of window Chelsea transfer news as we look ahead to the summer now.
The transfer window closed a couple of weeks back now and it was a very bland and strange one for Chelsea. They only made one signing and he is a player who is just expected to play as a deep backup option this season and then probably go on loan in the summer.
Other than that, Chelsea just loaned a bunch of players out with the only permanent one being Cesare Casadei to Torino in the end. There was loads of other loan moves but the problem with those is that Chelsea will have all of those players coming back in the summer and will have to try and sort moves for them once again. It’s really poor from the sporting directors at the club.
Romano is now talking about the summer transfer window, and it looks like we are going to be hearing plenty of rumours ahead of that one.

Sporting midfielder Dário Essugo was linked with Chelsea in the January window but in the end they did not make their move to sign him. Apparently, he is still on the radar for The Blues heading towards the summer window.
Romano says on his latest YouTube video:
“Dário Essugo remains on Chelsea’s list for next season, and they will closely monitor him for the future.”
So Chelsea fans, get excited for yet another ‘wonder kid’ potentially being pursued by the club if that is your kind of thing!
I think most Chelsea fans though would just like to see some established leaders added to the squad!
