Barcelona continue to prepare for the match against Real Madrid

The latest training session was held on Saturday, about which Mundo Deportivo has provided some interesting updates.

The three previously injured players, Alejandro Balde, Robert Lewandowski, and Marc Casado, all participated in this session. The fullback once again showed that he was fully ready for this match. The Polish striker is also fit, and Casado is also expected to get medical clearance to make it to the squad.

However, the youngsters Noah Darvich and Landry Farre were not a part of this training session, as the reserve team has a match this afternoon, in which they will be featuring. However, the young centre-back Eman Kospo participated in this session.

Flick’s possible lineup

Keeping in view players who participated in this training session, Flick’s starting lineup for tomorrow is quite easy to guess. Wojciech Szczesny will once again start in the goal. Balde is an option to start against Real Madrid, but if he does not, the German would opt for a backline of Eric Garcia, Pau Cubarsi, Inigo Martinez, and Gerard Martin.

In the midfield, Pedri and Frenkie de Jong are almost sure starters, and Dani Olmo will play as the attacking midfielder. The attack would be composed of Lamine Yamal and Raphinha on the wings, and Lewandowski can also return to the starting lineup after having played more than thirty minutes in the match against Inter Milan.

The Pole would definitely be keen to play as much as he can, especially as he is only one goal ahead of Kylian Mbappe in the Pichichi race.
