Premier League giants all said to be closing in on attacking targets in huge end to the window

The January transfer window is heating up as it approaches the final manic few days of player trading. Arsenal are strongly expected to sign a new forward in the closing stages of the month and recent reports in fact suggest the Gunners are confident that RB Leipzig star and Wolves attacker Matheus Cunha are eager to join Mikel Arteta’s team.
Chelsea continue to be linked with all manner of moves too. Manchester United’s Alejandro Garnacho has been tipped as a Blues target and fresh reports claim the Blues have now made contact with the Premier League rivals over a potential move for the Argentina international.

Ruben Amorim has refused to rule out the possibility of Alejandro Garnacho potentially leaving Manchester United this month amid transfer interest from Chelsea.
The Argentine’s future has become one of the headline stories in the latter stages of the current January window, with suggestions that United may accept the big-money sale of an academy graduate that would count as pure profit in their accounts when it comes to satisfying the Premier League's Profit and Sustainability Rules (PSR).
Chelsea are widely believed to hold a strong interest in Garnacho having previously been linked with Kobbie Mainoo, with reports on Thursday that they were set to make an official approach to United over the 20-year-old forward.
Garnacho was recalled to the United starting XI for Thursday night’s so-called ‘Battle of Britain’ clash against Rangers in the Europa League, delivering a lively display that saw him provide his side’s main attacking threat in the first half before hitting the post from inside the box in the second.
