Trent Alexander-Arnold has officially announced that he will leave Liverpool at the conclusion of the season, sharing the news in a heartfelt video.
The England defender, who rose through the club’s youth ranks, has become widely regarded as one of the best in his position.
During his time with the first team, he has won every major trophy available. With his contract set to expire this summer, he has now made the decision to move on.
Across 352 matches for the first team, he has secured two Premier League titles, the latest being in the current campaign.
His contributions were pivotal in Liverpool’s 2019 Champions League win, as well as their UEFA Super Cup and FIFA Club World Cup successes that same year. Domestically, he has also collected two Carabao Cups, one FA Cup, and a Community Shield.
Alexander-Arnold is expected to join Real Madrid, who reportedly attempted to sign him for a reduced fee during the January transfer window.
