Lazio coach Marco Baroni received good news ahead of Sunday’s big Derby della Capitale clash as three of his players will make it after being considered doubtful for the fixture.
According to La Lazio Siamo Noi, Tijjani Noslin trained alongside his teammates in the final training session ahead of the big showdown, so he should be included in the matchday squad. The Dutchman missed last weekend’s clash against Atalanta after suffering an ankle injury in the final minutes against Lecce.
Moreover, the source reveals that Manuel Lazzari is also back after skipping the previous one with a muscle problem, while Gaetano Castovilli has recovered from flu. Hence, the three players that Baroni considered in doubt when previewing the Derby should now be available for the contest, even though they’re unlikely to start.
In addition to the aforementioned trio, the squad will also include the returning Elseid Hysaj and Toma Basic who had been omitted from the Serie A list back in September, as the clubs are allowed to alter their squads during the transfer market session. Hence, the Albanian full-back and the Croatian midfielder will replace the injured Pedro and Matias Vecino on the list.
