Real Madrid started contract talks with Vinicius in mid-January to gauge his demands. They offered a salary increase to his representatives at Roc Nation, but the first proposal was quickly rejected.

This development could have caught the attention of Paris Saint-Germain, who may be keeping an eye on the situation. While PSG isn’t as desperate for star power as before and has already invested heavily in big names, they could still act if the opportunity arises.

Journalist Sacha Tavolieri recently reported that Vinicius’ advisors have already had informal talks with PSG, who are closely monitoring the situation and might step in if Real Madrid doesn’t present an offer he expects.

Despite the rumors linking him to PSG and Saudi Arabia, the Brazilian’s recent remarks seem like he’s not keen on leaving the Spanish side any time soon.

“I want to make history at Real Madrid, reaching 500 games at the club,” Vinicius said. “It is an unexplainable feeling to be captain of the best club in the world for the first time at 24 years old.”

A recent report from Marca says Saudi Arabia are actively pursuing Vinicius, with talks that began in 2023 still ongoing. During a meeting earlier that year, Vinicius expressed interest in the project, which offers not only financial benefits but also sporting and personal opportunities.
