The statistics surrounding the players to have committed the most fouls across the La Liga campaign to date have on Monday come to the fore online.

And they point towards one player, in the form of Lucas Torró, as comfortably leading the way.

Midfielder Torró has for his part played a starring role for Osasuna thus far in 2024/25.

Alongside Jon Moncayola, the 30-year-old has formed a stellar engine room partnership, featuring from the off in all 13 of the Rojillos’ league fixtures.

Along the way, as per Mundo Deportivo, Torró has racked up more recoveries and duels won than any other member of Vicente Moreno’s squad.

And, on top of as much, the Spaniard has committed the most fouls of any player in La Liga.

Torró, all told, has been called for a foul on 33 occasions this season, leading Girona star Yangel Herrera (30), and Abdel Abqar of Deportivo Alavés (26).
