No Serie A games will be played today, Saturday, April 26, 2025, as a sign of respect on the day of Pepe Francis’ funeral.
The Pope died on Monday, April 21, aged 88, and the Italian Government announced five days of national mourning the following day.
Lega Serie A postponed four league games that were scheduled for Monday, and also did the same with three games initially set for today: Como-Genoa, Inter-Roma, and Lazio-Parma.

The rescheduled games from Monday – Parma vs. Juventus, Genoa vs. Lazio, Cagliari vs. Fiorentina, and Torino vs. Udinese – were played this past Wednesday. The entire Week 34 will be played between Saturday and Sunday.
With Pope Francis’ funeral held in Rome this morning and five days of national mourning in place, the Italian Government invited the sports federations to rearrange their events scheduled for Saturday, also involving the Italian Football Association and Lega Serie A.
Como-Genoa will kick off at 12:30 CET on Sunday, while Inter will host Roma at San Siro at 15:00 CET.
Lazio-Parma will be played on Monday at 20:45 CET.
