Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano says that there is a chance that one 26-year-old player can still leave Chelsea this month, with Juventus interested.

There’s some very big business going on during this January transfer window already, even though we had not been expecting it for Chelsea.

EXCLUSIVE! Chelsea eyeing move for 22-year-old PSG player!!

If you look across the rumour mill’s over the last few days, you will see plenty of big transfer stories brewing up in what could potentially be one of the more dramatic winter transfer windows that we have seen.

Chelsea are very much involved, but it appears that a lot of Chelsea business in terms of new signings at least, will depend on any outgoings that they get done, and there could be some high profile ones.

For example, Marc Guehi from Crystal Palace is being linked, but you’d assume that Chelsea might need to sell a current centre back to get that done. And it might be a similar situation with the interest being reported in Kobbie Mainoo. You’d suspect Chelsea will need to move both Cesare Casadei and Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall to create the space and funds for him.

Disasi could still go

Disasi off?

Back to Disasi, and Romano is saying that he could still be sold by Chelsea this month, in his latest YouTube video report.

Romano says:

“There is a chance for Axel Disasi to leave Chelsea this January. He was discussed as an option with Juventus but Juventus have different priorities.”

So although there has been interest from Juventus, it doesn’t look like that is there any longer, and we have yet to hear about any other interest in Disasi.

I don’t actually think it is dependent on a new centre back coming in entirely though, but it would surely help the cause.
