Given that he last featured for Manchester United on December 12, fans are expecting clarification on Marcus Rashford’s future in the coming days.
The outcast forward now has four weeks to seal a move away from his boyhood club, or else risk watching on from the sidelines for the remainder of the campaign. It’s unclear what exactly has gone on between him and Ruben Amorim, but it’s becoming increasingly evident that the head coach is in no rush to reinstate him to the starting XI.
It’s thought that Rashford has several options on the table, with clubs across Europe all willing to give the 27-year-old, who boasts 138 goals in his United career, a chance to revive his stagnant form.
However, the major obstacle for his potential suitors is that he pockets an extortionate £325,000 per week, having signed a lucrative five-year deal after his career-best, 30-goal campaign in 2023.

Sky Sports’ Dharmesh Sheth revealed today that Rashford is garnering interest from European giants AC Milan amongst a host of other sides. For a deal to come to fruition between all parties, United would have to cover a ‘big portion of his wages’, as the Serie A outfit can only sanction a loan transfer at this stage of the season.
You’d imagine that the only way a loan agreement is approved is if an obligation to buy is included, otherwise, United would not benefit at all from the deal and would only be left with one less attacking option.
Elsewhere, Joshua Zirkzee is also reportedly in talks over a potential return to Italy amid a new approach from Juventus. The struggling summer signing featured for only 11 minutes in last night’s draw at Anfield, and his ex-Bologna coach Thiago Motta is keen to reunite with him now that he’s in charge of The Old Lady.
