Zhegrova admits love for Milan after previous interest: “I always follow” | OneFootball

Ahead of the January mercato opening, Edon Zhegrova has admitted his love for Serie A and AC Milan specifically in a recent interview.

With Christian Pulisic’s importance creating worries about his condition, Milan have begun to take a look at the available options for the upcoming mercato, and it would not be a shock to see Zhegrova linked once again.

The Kosovan winger has been fantastic for Lille in the past few seasons, and there has already been admiration for the winger from the club. However, it is not a one-way street.

In an interview with Gianlucadimarzio.com, the winger revealed he was a supporter of the Rossoneri and Serie A generally, and his words have been relayed by Milan News.

“I like Italian football, I always follow your big teams like AC Milan and I also watch Juve matches. Then in Kosovo, there are many Milan, Inter and Juve fans. Me in Serie A one day? Why not, I like Milan a lot.”

Given Samuel Chukwueze’s future at the club is unclear, and Fonseca beginning to use Pulisic more centrally, investing in another right-winger could be on the cards, and a move for Zhegrova would not be a surprise, especially with the Lille axis.
