L’Équipe understands that Ayman Kari’s (20) prospective move from Paris Saint-Germain and AS Saint-Étienne has fallen through.

Kari returned to formative club PSG in the summer after two relatively successful seasons on loan at FC Lorient, even if Les Merlus made the drop to Ligue 2 in his second and final season at the club. However, upon his return to the Parc des Princes, Kari could not convince Luis Enrique to include him in the set-up. As a result, the midfielder was left out of the first team set-up.

He could not secure a move away from Les Parisiens in the summer, however, he had looked set to leave this month. A deal had been agreed between PSG and ASSE, however, for reasons unknown, he will not be joining Les Verts. It now looks likely that Kari will remain with his formative club this month, however, he may leave in the summer, with his contract up come the end of the season.
