The Carabao Cup fourth round draw will get underway as third round fixtures draw to a close in the second week of contests being played up and down the country.
For Manchester City – who are widely seen as the favourites to claim this season’s title – they defeated Watford at the Etihad Stadium on Tuesday night, courtesy of first-half goals from Jeremy Doku and Matheus Nunes.
A late strike from Tom Ince would force concentration until the very final minute for Manchester City however, who proceed into the fourth round of the competition and maintain their unbeaten run this season.
It is the fourth competition that Manchester City have competed in so far this season, having already claimed the FA Community Shield title ahead of Manchester United, before getting their respective Premier League and UEFA Champions League campaigns underway.

The Round Four draw of the 2024/25 Carabao Cup will take place following the conclusion of Liverpool’s home tie against West Ham United on Wednesday 25 September.
The Round Four draw will take place live on Sky Sports, hosted by Carabao Cup presenter Mark Chapman.
Ball numbers for the Round Four draw will be finalised on the morning of Wednesday 25 September.

Round Four ties will take place week commencing 28 October.
For Manchester City, that means any fourth round tie would follow a home Premier League match against Southampton on Saturday 26 October, but precede a trip to Bournemouth on Saturday 2 November.
