Peter Bosz has issued a warning to Juventus ahead of their upcoming Champions League match away against PSV, insisting that the game will be different from the first leg ‘in every way you look at it’.

PSV will host Juve at the Phillips Stadion for the second leg of their Champions League play-off round tie. The Bianconeri currently lead at the halfway stage after a 2-1 victory in Turin last week.

Bosz warns Juventus: ‘It will be a different game’

“It will definitely be a different game to the first leg because we have to win, with goal difference as well. We play at home, in our stadium, every way you look at it, it really is different to when we played in Turin. We will have 35,000 people behind us,” Bosz said in his pre-match press conference, reported via TMW.

“I hope it will be a truly memorable Champions League night that they will have already had the pleasure of experiencing.”

PSV are currently in a two-horse race with Ajax for the 2024-25 Eredivisie title. They will meet in the league at the end of March.

Asked if he is more worried about the upcoming game with Juventus or the future match-up with Ajax, Bosz replied: “I’m worried about both. Juventus, a top club, and Farioli, who is in the lead. But we are not in a crisis and you never know how things will end in the Champions League.”

Juventus are currently on their longest winning streak since Thiago Motta took over, having picked up four wins across all competitions, including a 1-0 win over reigning Serie A champions Inter in the Derby d’Italia on Sunday.

Thiago Motta is expected to welcome Lloyd Kelly and Manuel Locatelli back into his side, while Douglas Luiz is the only new injury concern.
