FLW takes a look at just how many supporters from both sides will pack out Wembley Stadium this weekend.
Peterborough United and Birmingham City will meet in an all-League One clash in the Vertu Trophy Final at Wembley Stadium this Sunday.
Both sides will skirmish in the third tier on Tuesday night before they battle under the famous arch this weekend, as glory awaits for one of these two historic clubs.
Posh have endured a disappointing season in the league this term, having finished inside the play-off places in the previous two campaigns, Darren Ferguson's side are languishing in the bottom half of the table with just a handful of games to play.
As for Chris Davies and Birmingham City, they could be set for a week to remember. With a win over Peterborough on Tuesday night, or if Wycombe fail to beat Huddersfield, they will be promoted back to the Championship, before playing for silverware at the weekend.
So, how many supporters will be packed inside of Wembley on Sunday? Football League World takes a look at how many tickets Posh and Brum fans have sold ahead of Sunday's Vertu Trophy Final.
Peterborough United will certainly be the underdogs heading into the game, but dismiss their chances at your own risk, as this team knows exactly what it takes to lift this trophy.
They are the defending EFL Trophy champions, having defeated Wycombe Wanderers in a 2-1 victory last season thanks to a Harrison Burrows double.
That wasn't the only time they've gone all the way in this cup competition either, having been crowned champions in the 2013/14 season when it was named the Johnstone's Paint Trophy, running out 3-1 winners over Chesterfield on that particular occasion.
So, how many Posh supporters will be inside Wembley Stadium hoping to see their side defend their crown this weekend? Let's take a look!
According to Peterborough United's club website on 4 April, the club state that they are approaching their target of 20,000 tickets sold for Sunday's clash.
They state that Wembley have given them permission to release all remaining level 2 blocks to supporters, but confirm that no tickets in level 5 (the highest tier of seating) will be made available.
Birmingham City will be looking to lift the Vertu Trophy for the very first time in the club's history this weekend.
It could be the first piece of silverware collected under their new American ownership, which could well be the first of many should their grand and ambitious view for the future come to fruition.
Whilst they haven't lifted this specific trophy before, Blues do have experience of hoisting silverware at Wembley Stadium, having defied the odds by beating Arsenal in the 2010/11 League Cup Final.
With this sleeping giant of English football rising from their slumber, just how many Bluenoses will be inside the home of football on Sunday? Let's find out!
In an update released via the club website on 24 March, Birmingham City have fully sold out their 43,356 allocation for the Vertu Trophy Final, with all general admission tickets being snapped up in the first 30 minutes of them going on sale.
Despite this clear demand for tickets by Blues supporters, no further tickets will be granted to them due to safety and fan segregation reasons.
The club have also warned Brum fans against purchasing tickets in the Peterborough United end, with the promise of a stadium ban and potential police action outlined for supporters who are found to be in violation of this.
