Eintracht Frankfurt come into their Bundesliga clash against Bayern Munich on a seven game unbeaten run, their longest under Dino Toppmöller, but the head coach has some big decisions to make when it comes to lining up against the Rekordmeister.
Robin Koch has missed Eintracht’s last two games with a shoulder injury and faces a race to be fit for a starting place against Bayern. Ellyes Skhiri is also a doubt with a rib injury, but the Tunisian appears to be closer to the starting line-up than Koch is. In the German’s absence, Nnamdi Collins is expected to start in a back-three.
After becoming somewhat disgruntled at his playing time following his move last summer, Can Uzun is also expected to retain his starting place. The German, regarded as one of the biggest talents in football, has scored two in his last three Bundesliga games. Like against Holstein Kiel, Toppmöller is likely to opt for Uzun and Mario Götze in the half-spaces, but another option would be a start for January arrival Elye Wahi.
Kevin Trapp – Nnamdi Collins, Tuta, Arthur Theate – Rasmus Kristensen, Hugo Larsson, Ellyes Skhiri, Nathanial Brown – Mario Götze, Can Uzun – Hugo Ekitike
