Real Madrid’s young forward Endrick may not have found the back of the net in the Copa del Rey clash against Deportiva Minera, but his appearance still made a significant impact financially.

According to a report from SPORT, the Brazilian’s involvement in the match triggered one of the clauses in his transfer agreement with Palmeiras, earning the Brazilian club an additional payment from Madrid.

Endrick, who returned to the starting lineup for this fixture, showcased glimpses of his undeniable talent throughout the game.

He moved effectively, created opportunities, and demonstrated his potential, but luck wasn’t on his side as he ended the match without a goal.

Despite this, his participation in the game for more than 45 minutes (he completed the entire match) fulfilled one of the performance-based conditions outlined in his transfer deal.

Madrid will pay €75,000

As per the outlet, Palmeiras will receive €75,000 for Endrick’s appearance in the Copa del Rey match.

This marks the second time this season that the youngster has started a game for Real Madrid, following his inclusion in the starting XI during their Champions League match against Lille, which unfortunately ended in defeat for the Spanish giants.

The transfer agreement between Real Madrid and Palmeiras includes several performance-based clauses tied to Endrick’s appearances, goals, and contributions.

For every game he stars, Palmeiras are entitled to €75,000, up to a specified limit. Additionally, the agreement stipulates €35,000 for each goal, assist, or penalty he causes, again within certain boundaries.

Other clauses in his deal

Larger bonuses are also part of the deal, depending on both team and individual achievements. For instance, if Madrid win La Liga with Endrick starting at least 8 games, Palmeiras will receive €500,000, a figure that doubles if he starts 18 games.

Similar conditions apply to Madrid’s Champions League performance, with payments ranging from €500,000 to €2 million depending on Endrick’s contributions.

Personal accolades such as winning the Golden Boy or Kopa Trophy, ranking in the top 3 of the Ballon d’Or, or winning the prestigious award outright, could also bring substantial payouts, with figures reaching up to €2 million.
