Inter Milan veteran Marko Arnautovic has rolled back the years, while Mehdi Taremi cannot catch a break at the San Siro.
According to FCInterNews, one man’s downfall has been another man’s opportunity.
Despite joining the Nerazzurri with great promise, Mehdi Taremi has never hit the ground running in Serie A.
Battling Lautaro Martinez and Marcus Thuram for a place in the starting XI was always going to be a tall order.
However, the Inter faithful had expected more from the 32-year-old.

Taremi’s struggles at the San Siro are well documented.
In stark contrast, Arnautovic has gone from strength to strength toward the end of his second stint at Inter.
The 35-year-old Austrian has recently been a highly influential figure in Inter’s frontline.
For context, he has netted several crucial goals in 2025.
Arnautovic’s stunning volley set the tone for Inter’s 2-0 win against Lazio in the Coppa Italia quarter-finals.
Furthermore, he has scored in three consecutive Serie A appearances, most recently scoring against Udinese.
Meanwhile, Taremi’s only league goal for Inter came from the spot against Lecce in January.
