According to a report by L’Équipe, the status of Jean-Clair Todibo’s (24) injury will be known in the coming hours.

The West Ham United defender was ruled out of the 3-1 defeat to Leicester City on Tuesday evening after he suffered discomfort in his abductor. It is not yet known how severe the injury is but it is suspected that the defender will have to rest in what will be a significant blow to the London club. An absence until 2025 has been evoked by L’Équipe.

West Ham have been in a poor run of form having lost three of their last five games and currently sitting 14th in the league. Todibo has played 10 games in the Premier League and two matches in the Carabao Cup since joining the club over the summer from OGC Nice.

The Frenchman had looked set to join Juventus, however, West Ham worked tirelessly to convince the centre-back that his future belonged in England rather than Italy.
