Belgian giant Anderlecht have found an agreement with Southampton to take one of their players on loan with an option to buy.
With the window still open in Belgium, clubs in the country are taking advantage of a lack of competition for players who still want a move.
Southampton have offered up a good opportunity for Anderlecht and they are pushing forward with a swoop.
Anderlecht now have an ‘agreement found’ with Southampton to sign winger Samuel Edozie, according to Belgian journalist Sacha Tavolieri.
Edozie came close to joining Scottish side Rangers on Friday, but the Gers pulled the plug on the deal after signing Nedim Bajrami.
Now the winger is to get a move and it is to Anderlecht.
The agreement in place will see Edozie head to Anderlecht from Southampton on a season-long loan deal.
There will also be an option to buy included in the agreement, however it is unclear just what level that will be set at.
Anderlecht are keen to register Edozie in their Europa League squad.
