Swansea City have reportedly made a bid to sign Luton Town attacker Harry Cornick as they look to bolster their squad this January.
The Swans have sat in and around the playoffs and are desperate for additions this January to bolster their chances with a push for the top six.
They do however face competition if they are to sign Harry Cornick after Football Insider reported that both Bristol City and Swansea have made bids for the versatile frontman.
With the departure of Michael Obafemi to Burnley, a move for another attacker will be necessary to ensure there is enough cover in attacking positions for Russell Martin’s side.
Here we ask our FLW writers whether the forward will be a good fit for the Championship side.

Harry Cornick strikes me as a perfect fit for Swansea City under Russell Martin.
He’s a really clever and technical footballer – someone that we’ve seen get involved with build-up play regularly at Luton Town – so it’s no surprise to me that the Swans are interested.
His contract is set to expire in the summer and he’s 27 now so he should be available for a six-figure fee, probably even around the £300,000 mark.
With Michael Obafemi seemingly on his way to Burnley and Morgan Whittaker’s future unclear, Martin could do with another forward.
Cornick is unlike most of the players at his disposal but would be a good fit in my eyes.

In Michael Obafemi’s expected departure, Swansea are losing a pacey, dynamic frontline operator who provides a different kind of service to their current attacking options.
Whilst being at a more advanced stage of his career, that is exactly the kind of abilities that the 27-year-old would bring to the Swansea.com Stadium.
Looking at his contract situation, Luton could be lured into selling for a cut-price fee and Cornick represents a Championship-proven option who deserves another second-tier move, if the Hatters were to sanction his departure.
Bristol City are also positioning itself well to secure a deal for Cornick and it will be interesting to see how this one progresses.
Cornick has enjoyed an excellent rise with the Hatters over the years and a fresh Championship opportunity could appeal to him.

Cornick has not had his best season in a Luton shirt and has struggled for form and goals this season.
However, a late flurry in recent weeks has given Edwards a headache when it comes to picking his attack with several players vying for a place in his starting XI. That could prompt a departure for Cornick which would be Swansea’s gain.
They will get a hardworking forward who can player out wide or in a front two which will give Martin plenty of options. Whilst his goal record is not prolific, his work rate and unselfish play allow other players around him to thrive.
If the fee is the right one, Cornick would certainly be a good signing for the Swans.
