HLN are reporting that Kristian Arnstad is on his way out of Anderlecht. Once a favourite of Vincent Kompany and tipped for big things, the now 20-year-old has seen his role greatly reduced under Brian Riemer. With just a year left on his contract, it appears Anderlecht are cashing in, with Rapid Vienna of Austria set to benefit. Transfermarkt currently values the versatile midfielder at around €2m.

Arnstad joined the Anderlecht academy back in 2019 from Stabæk’s academy for an undisclosed amount. He has been capped at every level of international youth football in Norway and made his senior debut for Anderlecht during the 2020/2021 season. He fully broke into the first team during the 2022/2023 season, making 27 league appearances and 11 European appearances. He scored once and grabbed two assists. Overall he has made 68 appearances for the side with one goal and three assists. At times his versatility has seen him play in a variety of positions, including at full-back.
