Atalanta winger Jérémie Boga to undergo medical at Nice | OneFootball

OGC Nice are set to complete the signing of Ivory Coast international winger Jérémie Boga (26) from Atalanta, according to a report this Tuesday from Foot Mercato. The French publication understand that the Ligue 1 outfit have booked a medical this afternoon for the former Stade Rennais and Chelsea striker. Boga made his move to Atalanta permanent only last year but his first full season with La Dea won’t live long in the memory. He only logged two goals and five assists in 25 games played in all competitions this season.

Atalanta would be keen to recoup some of the €22m they had paid for the 26-year-old. According to Foot Mercato, Nice and the Serie A outfit were close to an agreement over an €18m transfer fee. Les Aiglons have gone up a gear in their transfer business. The Ligue 1 side have officially announced the loan arrival of Aston Villa’s French midfielder Morgan Sanson. Juventus’ Italian left-back Luca Pellegrini (24) is also reportedly closing in on a move to Nice.
