Barcelona star receives fresh contact from Saudi clubs | OneFootball

A member of the defensive ranks at La Liga giants Barcelona was recently contacted over a potential move to Saudi Arabia.

That’s according to Barca insider Gerard Romero, who points towards Andreas Christensen as the player in question.

Stopper Christensen has for his part of course endured something of a season to forget to date in Catalunya’s capital.

Owing to a pair of niggling injury problems, the Dane, in fact, has managed just a solitary appearance across all competitions, all the way back in August.

Now considered some way down the defensive pecking order of boss Hansi Flick as a result, Christensen has long been tipped for a potential winter departure from Barcelona.

And, as alluded to above, if the latest word stemming from the media on Friday is anything to go by, then a fresh option appears to have presented itself to the former Chelsea man.

As per a report from Gerard Romero, over recent hours, Christensen and his entourage were contacted by an unnamed Saudi Pro League club.

Little further information is provided, with it now remaining to be seen if the player himself is at all interested in a potential move to the Middle East.
