Official: 4th Barcelona star renews contract | OneFootball

Yet another major contract renewal at La Liga giants Barcelona has on Friday been announced.

The latest player to have put pen to paper on fresh terms in Catalunya’s capital comes in the form of Gavi.

The subject of renewals has of course taken its place front and centre in the headlines at Barcelona over the course of the last week.

This comes, first, after defensive pair Ronald Araújo and Gerard Martín were tied down for the long-term.

Then, on Thursday, midfield standout Pedri followed suit, extending his agreement with Hansi Flick’s side through the summer of 2030.

And as alluded to above, on Friday, the impressive work being done by Deco and co. has only continued.

As per a release across Barcelona’s website and social media platforms this afternoon, Gavi has also penned a new deal, joining midfield partner Pedri on terms for the next five-and-a-half years:
