A member of the attacking ranks at La Liga giants Barcelona was left altogether unhappy with boss Hansi Flick’s decision to haul him off early against Rayo Vallecano.
That’s according to Diario Sport, who point towards Robert Lewandowski as the player in question.
Frontman Lewandowski of course proved himself match-winner for the latest occasion on Monday night.
This came after the Pole dispatched the only goal of the game in a 1-0 victory over Rayo Vallecano from the penalty spot during the first-half.
Amid Barcelona’s efforts to see out the matchup against an impressive Rayo outfit, Lewandowski was then hooked from proceedings late on, replaced by Ferran Torres.
And as per the aforementioned Sport, the former Bayern Munich man was left less than impressed by the call, to the point of being ‘annoyed’ with his manager:
‘The cameras caught Lewy greeting Hansi Flick and making a fuss, annoyed. Not a snub, but a disagreement.’
