Bayern Munich’s Sacha Boey could be set for summer departure | OneFootball

Sacha Boey (24) has failed to establish himself since making the move to Bayern Munich from Galatasaray for €30m just over one year ago. Injuries have hampered the Frenchman’s efforts to do so, although the intense competition for places and an inability to replicate the levels shown during his time in Turkey have also contributed to Boey playing a peripheral role.

This season, the young full-back has played just 11 games in all competitions. He has contended with a meniscus tear and an ankle injury since the start of the campaign, which have prevented the France youth international from gaining any rhythm.

His time at Bayern Munich could ultimately prove to be brief. Sky Sports Germany journalist Florian Plettenberg understands that the Bundesliga giants are open to discussing a transfer this summer if a reasonable offer is tabled. The German side are prioritising using Josip Stanisic and Konrad Laimer in the right-back slot next season. Boey’s deal at Bayern Munich runs until 2028.
