Wolves announced news of the transfer via a post on their official club website this afternoon.
Jenner has come through the Birmingham City youth ranks and she has made 10 senior appearances for the club in all competitions to date. The teenager largely spent the early part of last season on the Blues bench before enjoying a loan spell in the third tier with Stoke City.
First team opportunities could again be limited for Jenner at Birmingham City this term and the club have therefore allowed the player to join Wolverhampton Wanderers on loan to further her development.
After adding Jenner to his squad, Wolves boss Dan McNamara said “Abbi’s someone we’ve known about and she went on loan [to Stoke City] last season. She fits that mould of what we want perfectly.
“She’s a young player looking to develop, looking to work hard and we want to play a part in her footballing journey.”
Jenner made her Wolves debut in a 5-2 pre-season friendly win at Cheltenham Town yesterday. The defender netted twice in her team’s victory in Gloucestershire.
