Breakout Brighton youngster's set to miss rest of season

Brighton midfielder Jack Hinshelwood has been potentially ruled out for the rest of the season due to injury.

The 18-year-old sustained a stress fracture in his foot which has required surgery, according to the Athletic.

It is thought that the youngster will miss most, if not the remainder of the current campaign.

The academy graduate has had a successful break through this season, scoring three goals in 12 appearances despite being deployed as a right back.

The blow to Roberto De Zerbi’s men is softened with the return from injury of Joël Veltman and Tariq Lamptey.
