Celta’s clash with Barcelona at BalaĂdos has been a rather entertaining affair.
Barcelona took the lead thanks to some quick thinking for Lionel Messi to provide an assist for Luis Suárez.
But Celta had some good openings to level before they eventually did in the second half when Okay Yokuslu teed up Fyodor Smolov to level.
Let’s just say if it had been Iago Aspas, we’re not quite sure there would have been equaliser.
In the first half, it became apparent that Celta’s main man and the Russian weren’t quite playing on the same wavelength at all.
When Smolov didn’t pass to Aspas in a good position early on, he decided to return the favour later when the roles were reversed.
It is the kind of petty behaviour you expect to see in a game in the school playground but not at the highest level in LaLiga – and people were quick to pick up on it.
There’s just no room for that when you are in a relegation battle.
