Celta Vigo star return to training ahead of Real Valladolid | OneFootball

La Liga outfit Celta Vigo have on Friday been afforded a timely boost on the personnel front.

This comes amid confirmation that a member of the club’ attacking ranks has returned to training alongside the rest of the club’s first-team squad.

The player in question? Hugo Álvarez.

Winger Álvarez, for his part, was forced to sit out last weekend, as Celta Vigo secured a narrow victory over Leganés.

This came owing to a niggling knee problem.

The 21-year-old, who has racked up four goals and two assists in 22 La Liga appearances this season, had in turn since sat out training across the week to date, too.

As alluded to above, though, on Friday, Álvarez was back in the thick of things in Galicia.

As per a report from Mundo Deportivo:

‘The winger completed the training session at the training ground this morning at the same pace as his teammates, after which Claudio Giráldez confirmed that he will be included in the squad (to face Real Valladolid).’
