After completing the signing of former Southampton striker, Jonathan Afolabi, Celtic are closing in on another key piece for their Scottish Premiership season.
According to reports from the Herald, Celtic are poised to sign Norwegian full-back, Birger Meling.

It’s understood that Meling is close to agreeing to a deal to join the Scottish champions, and he could be unveiled before Celtic’s Europa League play-off against AIK Stockholm on Thursday night.
Meling played in 31 matches with Rosenborg BK during the 2018-19 season, scoring two goals and assisting on three others.
