A fantastic brace by Charlie Kelman sealed a hard-fought 3-2 win for Leyton Orient in their play-off chase, as they took on a determined Mansfield last Tuesday.
Kelman bagged his 16th and 17th goals of the season in League One, putting him just behind Wycombe’s Richard Kone and Birmingham City’s Jay Stansfield, both with 18 goals in English football’s third tier.
The QPR loanee is clearly loving life at Brisbane Road, having netted 21 goals in all domestic competitions this season from 53 appearances.
Here's an interesting stat: the American forward has scored 12 of those 21 goals in 2025 alone. With his brace against the Stags, no player in 'The 92' has found the back of the net more times than Kelman this calendar year.
The 23-year-old has now leapfrogged Alexander Isak and Mohamed Salah, both of whom have scored 11 goals in 2025.
