Charlton Athletic have been busy off the field during a mixed month for them.
Results on the pitch haven't gone their way and that will upset supporters who may have had hopes of the club pushing for a top-six finish at the end of the campaign.
They haven't been afraid to enter the market this winter though, with Tyreeq Bakinson and Lewis Fiorini joining on loan during the early stages of the month.
Both have operated at a higher level before, with Bakinson playing at Sheffield Wednesday before his temporary switch to The Valley.
Also bringing in players permanently, with Macaulay Gillesphey and Conor Coventry joining from Plymouth Argyle and West Ham United, they have built on their work from the summer.
More business could be conducted between now and the end of the month though.
And we have some of the latest transfer reports on the Addicks below.
Oxford United have beaten Charlton in the race to recruit Cheltenham Town striker Will Goodwin, according to Gloucestershire Live.
A £400,000 fee, with add-ons on top, has been agreed between the two teams with the player undergoing a medical yesterday.
The Addicks were also in the mix for him - but Goodwin has opted to make the move to the Kassam Stadium.
He could be an excellent alternative to Mark Harris, who struggled for much of the season but has come alive in 2024, scoring at The Valley and against Carlisle United last weekend. Grabbing a brace against Paul Simpson's men, that will give Harris plenty of confidence.
South London Press journalist Rich Cawley believes there's no chance of the Addicks securing a deal for Ipswich Town striker Freddie Ladapo this month.
The Tractor Boys' forward was an excellent asset for Kieran McKenna's side last term, registering 17 goals in 46 league appearances.
He has also scored four goals in all competitions this season - and is a regular part of McKenna's matchday squad despite not starting every game.
With this in mind, this news doesn't come as a major shock. He would have been an excellent addition in the English capital though, with Michael Appleton's side clearly on the prowl for a goalscorer.
Jonson Clarke-Harris has turned down two contract offers from Charlton, according to Peterborough United director of football Barry Fry who spoke to Peterborough Today.
Clarke-Harris, like Ladapo, could be an excellent addition for Appleton with the former a proven goalscorer at this level.
However, it doesn't seem as though he's desperate to make the switch to The Valley at this point.
Speaking about the rejected offers, Fry said: "Johnno has turned down two contract offers from Charlton.
"It’s up to him of course, but he isn’t going to get a better offer or a better club in my opinion.
"He could believe he will be financially better off if he leaves for nothing in the summer, but clubs are struggling financially and with financial fair play rules.
