Head coach John Griffiths told englandfootball.com: “It’s an honour to represent England in a tournament at any level and we’ll be proud to wear the Three Lions in Lithuania. This tournament will be a brilliant experience for our Young Lionesses and a crucial part of their development as they progress through the pathway. We’re determined to give it our all in every game, but it’s just as important we take as much as we can from the experience both on and off the pitch.

“Only the best teams qualify for the finals and we’re relishing the chance to test ourselves against the very best of Europe. The standard across the women’s game is rising at every level and that’s no different with the under-19s. It’s going to be a great challenge and we can’t wait to get started.”
