Anna Anvegård opened the scoring early on before Valérie Gauvin netted twice. Substitute Claire Emslie capped-off a comprehensive win with a fourth goal late on as The Blue Girls rebuilt some much-needed confidence following a poor recent run of results.
Everton needed a quick start and they got just that when Kenza Dali crossed the ball for Anvegård to poke home the opener from close range after four minutes.
Home keeper Becky Flaherty was in good form, saving well from both Poppy Pattinson and Anvegård. The Northern Ireland international followed up those stops by denying Hanna Bennison before she produced her best save of the first half, tipping over an Anvegård effort.
Gauvin then made it 2-0 as she headed home from a corner kick and it could have been even better for Jean-Luc Vasseur’s side had Anvegård not have seen an effort blocked by an outstretched leg just before the interval.
Everton made it 3-0 soon into the second half when Gauvin found herself one-on-one with Flaherty and she drilled her shot into the bottom corner.
Dali then saw an effort whistle over the bar before substitute Toni Duggan failed to beat Flaherty when one-on-one and Emslie saw an effort blocked by a defender.
Everton continued to push for a fourth goal with Anvegård firing a shot against the post when it looked easier to score. They finally got their reward in the final minute of the game when Emslie acrobatically converted a cross on the volley to seal a 4-0 win for her team and a safe passage into the fifth round of the competition.
