It is another blow for Franck Haise, whose options up front are already limited, due to the ACL injury suffered by first-choice centre-forward Terem Moffi in pre-season. Laborde started as Nice lost to AJ Auxerre on the opening game of the season, however, he will now miss Le Gym’s first home game of the season, as Haise revealed in Friday’s pre-match press conference, attended by Get French Football News.

“Laborde was injured in training today. It happened when he put his foot down. He will undergo tests on the foot this afternoon. For this weekend, he’s 99% out,” said Haise.  In the wake of those tests, the club has confirmed that Laborde has suffered a fractured metetarsal, with L’Équipe estimating an absence between two and three months.

However, he will welcome Youssouf Ndayishimiye back to the fray, as well as Melvin Bard, back from suspension. Moïse Bambito is available and fit after competing his move from Colorado Rapids. Jeremie Boga is also nearing a return but will not be fit to face Le TéFéCé.
