Yusuf Yazici’s contract with Lille has expired and several clubs are monitoring his situation, including AC Milan. Paulo Fonseca knows the player well and there would be no issues finding an agreement, a report claims.

A few weeks ago, Yazici confirmed his exit from Lille as the contract expired at the end of June. Since then, he has been evaluating his options and multiple clubs have been evaluating making a move for him. Milan are one of them, according to Gazzetta dello Sport (see photo below).

Fonseca knows Yazici well, with 12 goals scored for Lille this past season, and the attacking midfielder would be happy to join Milan. There would be no issues with finding an agreement, in other words, but the Rossoneri would have to decide to make a serious move.

Milan and Fonseca are currently evaluating the idea and it remains to be seen what the conclusion will be. Fenerbahce have also expressed an interest in the Turkish international, but the feeling is that he would prefer a top-five-league move if there is one on the table.

In the meantime, the Rossoneri are also working on the arrival of Alvaro Morata from Atletico Madrid.
