Speaking in an interview with Bild, Hannes Wolf (23) is yet to breakthrough at Borussia Mönchengladbach but despite criticism, doesn’t label himself as a flop following his €9.5m transfer from RB Leipzig in 2021.

I don’t have any control over what comes out of it at the end, that’s for the trainer to decide.”
During his time at Borussia Mönchengladbach, Wolf has played 55 games across all competitions, scoring four and creating two. The Austria international spent the first six months of 2022 on loan at Championship side Swansea City, scoring two and creating three in 19 games.
Three points off Borussia Dortmund, who occupy the UEFA Europa Conference League spot, Borussia Mönchengladbach host Bayer Leverkusen on January 22.
