Hansi Flick cancels Barcelona training at last minute | OneFootball

Barcelona head coach Hansi Flick on Sunday made the call to afford his players a day off.

That’s according to Mundo Deportivo, who have provided an insight into the latest developments behind the scenes in Catalunya’s capital.

Barcelona were of course back in action on Saturday night, when they made the trip to minnows Barbastro for a Copa del Rey clash.

When all was said and done, the Blaugrana made short work of their opponents, to the tune of a 4-0 triumph.

And boss Hansi Flick, evidently, was more than happy with the performance put forth by his side.

This comes amid confirmation on the part of MD that the German cancelled a planned training session for Sunday at the last minute:

‘Since they returned from the Christmas break in open training on December 29, the Barça players have had no rest and the German coach wanted to give them a break so they can arrive in top condition for the Super Cup.’
