This marks their fourth consecutive league title and 13th in the last 14 seasons. It’s a level of dominance few clubs in Europe can match. With the Premier Sports League Cup already in the bag, Aberdeen now stand between Brendan Rodgers’ side and a clean sweep of domestic trophies. Celtic fans know what’s at stake, this isn’t just another trophy chase. It’s a shot at history…

A Season of Strength, Style and Ruthlessness

There was no subtlety about the way Celtic secured the league. Their demolition job against Dundee United not only sealed the title, but it also underlined their authority. From back to front, the squad has shown balance and bite. Daizen Maeda has been electric in front of the goal, Arne Engels continues to mature with every match, and Alistair Johnston has been a stand-out in the back line. Brendan Rodgers has silenced critics by building a Celtic team that blends flair with grit.

While Celtic’s focus is firmly on finishing the treble, the wider football community has been following the race from many angles. It’s no surprise that fans, both in Scotland and abroad, have turned to various tipster sites to back their predictions.

The odds on a Celtic treble have shortened significantly in recent weeks, from 5/2 earlier in the year to near-evens before the Dundee United match. In-play betting will likely surge on various sports betting sites not on GamStop, with fans jumping on scenarios like first goalscorer or correct score outcomes during live games. These platforms appeal to those looking for different bet types, fewer restrictions, and more flexibility in how they place wagers, particularly for those outside the UK who still follow Scottish football closely.

Hampden Awaits – All Eyes on Aberdeen

The Scottish Cup Final on Saturday 24 May will bring back memories for many Celtic fans. Hampden Park has hosted countless green and white triumphs, but every final feels different. Aberdeen may not have been as consistent this season as Jimmy Thelin would like, but they’ve shown before in cup competitions that they can upset the odds. Rodgers will know the danger of complacency. Cup finals often ignore form, and with silverware on the line, it’s about who shows up on the day.

That said, Celtic’s record in finals speaks volumes. They’ve won 12 of their last 13 domestic finals and haven’t lost to Aberdeen in a cup final since 1990, when Aberdeen won 9-8 on penalties. Brendan Rodgers also has a 100% win record at Hampden Park to protect and if he does that Celtic win the Treble.

This Celtic team knows how to turn up when it matters. With the likes of Callum McGregor and James Forrest – serial winners who’ve lifted multiple trebles and have already achieved 50 winners medals between them – Celtic have leaders who understand the weight of the occasion.

Brendan Rodgers’ Redemption Arc

Few managers return to a club under more scrutiny than Brendan Rodgers did in June 2023. Some questioned his loyalty. Others doubted whether he could repeat the magic of his first spell. But he’s answered all that the only way that counts – with results. Winning the Scottish Premiership and the Scottish Cup last season.  He added the Premier Sports League Cup in December as the first piece of silverware on offer this season. That was a solid start, but regaining the Premiership title last weekend and closing in on a treble makes a louder statement.

Just the Scottish Cup to go for Brendan Rodgers and his exciting Celtic side!

Brendan’s tactical tweaks, squad rotation, and trust in his players have all paid off. As an elite manager he has brought in calmness where it was needed and made bold calls without fear. His second spell hasn’t just been a victory lap; it’s been a rebuild, and it’s working out brilliantly.

The Legacy of a Treble

If Celtic complete the domestic treble this year, it would be the ninth in the club’s  history. That’s not just a Scottish record – it’s an extraordinary achievement by any measure. Celtic how has won an astonishing 120 major honours, no club in Europe has managed as many. It places Celtic in a category of their own, a reminder of what consistent excellence looks like.

But for fans, this isn’t about only numbers. It’s about pride. It’s about the feeling when the winning goal hits the net at Hampden. It’s about celebrating in pubs, living rooms, and streets from Glasgow to Brisbane. For the players, it’s a reward for a season of hard graft. For Brendan Rodgers, it’s proof that returning to Celtic was indeed the right call. And for the club, it’s another chapter in a long, proud and unbroken fairytale that shows no signs of slowing down.

That’s how it feels to be Celtic.
