The Dominican Republic has announced its roster for next month's World Cup Qualifiers and 2026 Gold Cup tournament, with Leeds United defender Junior Firpo included in Marcelo Neveleff's 23 man squad.
Facing a busy schedule in June, Los Quisqueyanos will kick the month off with two World Cup Concacaf Qualifiers against Guatemala (Friday 6th June, Guatemala City) and Dominica (Tuesday 10th June, Santo Domingo).
From there, they will have to navigate the Group stage of the Gold Cup, taking on Mexico (Saturday 14th June, Los Angeles), Costa Rica (Wednesday 18th June, Arlington) and Suriname (Sunday 22nd June, Arlington).
Firpo comes off the back of a successful season for Leeds, which saw the full back lift the 2024/25 Championship title, featuring 35 times for the club and scoring four goals.
